“Darkroom to Lightroom” Mendocino County Office of Education/ROP 4rd Annual Student Photography Show
Three Mendocino County comprehensive High Schools, Mendocino, Laytonville & Ukiah are participating in the 2013 Photo Show opening May 3, Friday.
Opening reception 5 pm – 8 pm held at the Art Center Ukiah/Corner Gallery at 201 S. State Street, Ukiah.
Participating High School's Ukiah High School (Digital) 170 students Lech Slocinski teacher , Laytonville High School (Digital) 50 students Carolyn Carpenter teacher, Mendocino High School ( Darkroom) 50 students Barbara Albanese, a total of over 500 photographs will be displayed.
New this year to the 4th Annual Students Photography show; there will be 40 student photography exhibits displayed outside on the streets of downtown Ukiah for the May 3rd Friday Art Walk event.
Musician Michael Barrish, guitar, dobro, tiple has been writing songs for 30 years, covering a variety of styles, from cowboy to blues.
He is a past winner of the Best Performance Award for the West Coast Song Writers in San Luis Obispo County.He will be performing at the Corner Gallery on Friday May 3rd from 5 pm – 8 pm. Student Photography Exhibit supported by Savings Bank of Mendocino and The Art Center Ukiah.
