About the artists ...
Susan Blackwelder has always loved to draw. She particularly enjoys capturing the likeness of her subjects, which often include the faces and figures of both people and animals. She also enjoys a multiplicity of art materials. She has chosen some of her favorite pieces to display in the gallery this month. They show both her diversity and her sense of fun.
Minnie McQueary has been painting for over 40 years. She has won numerous top awards for her work in Europe and the United States. Her theme this month is "Beautiful Mendocino," and she will show an array of bright, colorful landscapes, florals, and the wild life that can be found in our county
With bronzes in many collections, including The Smithsonian Portrait Institute, Washington, DC, Bonnie Veblen is now challenging herself in new directions, including exploring photography. Whether creating art with bronze, camera, or pen, Bonnie strives to expose the vitality, warmth and spirit of her subject.
